About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team at Microsoft. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions.
    • Develop and maintain technical architecture and design documents for cloud-based solutions.
    • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Cloud Solution Design
    • Design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet customer business requirements and technical standards.
    • Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, Azure API Management, and Entra ID.
    • Apply cloud design patterns and best practices such as microservices, CQRS, event sourcing, circuit breaker, retry, and bulkhead.
  • Customer Success
    • Work closely with customers to understand their business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to customers to ensure successful implementation of cloud-based solutions.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and application development.
    • Develop and maintain technical expertise in cloud-based solutions, including Azure services and cloud design patterns.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices in cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience using knowledge of the products, services, and value propositions of Microsoft and/or its competitors in customer/partner conversations to identify growth opportunities based on knowledge of customer/partner needs.
  • Experience gathering customer/partner insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs, competitive landscape), and maps architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer/partner business outcomes.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience working on technical projects & 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • Previous hands-on experience implementing DevOps practices and workflows using GitHub, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Collaborating and communicating with stakeholders, customers, and developers using agile methodologies, design thinking, and user stories.
  • Experience in developing web-based solutions using one or more technologies like.NET framework (ASP.NET), React, Angular, or Blazor.
  • Deploying and managing containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Architecting and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions using Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, Azure API Management, and Entra ID.
  • Applying cloud design patterns and best practices such as microservices, CQRS, event sourcing, circuit breaker, retry, and bulkhead.
  • Conducting cloud assessments and evaluations using Azure Well-Architected Framework, Azure Architecture Center, and Azure Cloud Adoption Framework.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and application development.
  • Applications migration from the enterprise to public cloud providers.
  • Microservices architectures and rearchitecting monolithic solutions to microservices.
  • Developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, and PaaS.
  • Terraform, ArgoCD, Tekton, K-native, or similar technologies.
