Job Summary


The Program Manager - Strategic Technology Liaison is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects that have significant IT and operational components. This role champions a customer-focused culture and deepens client relationships while leveraging broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.


Key Responsibilities



  • Partner with key stakeholders and approved bank vendors to provide technology-specific expertise for effort and financial estimation, Statement of Work management, and release planning.
  • Act as a strategic technology liaison to business partners and vendors, building an understanding of their business needs and maintaining ongoing strong relationships.
  • Manage ongoing intake/demand for enhancements and service requests, prioritizing requests based on urgency, value/benefits, and lab capacity.
  • Identify and evaluate intake and convert it into projects as needed, following project management principles and the EDF lifecycle.
  • Monitor project status to ensure accurate depiction and that major risks and issues are receiving the appropriate level of attention.
  • Complete monthly Project Status Reports and present to senior leadership, including Business Sponsor, Project Leadership Team (PLT), and Steering Committee (as required).

Requirements



  • 5-10 years of experience in the financial services industry, managing large complex projects.
  • Working familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology.
  • PMP Designation an asset.
  • English language B2 or higher level.
