We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pega Solutions Architect to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. As a key member of our Global Fraud Technology team, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of the Pega Smart Disputes Platform.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within Agile development teams. They will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Pega base solutions, with expertise in flows, UI, and decision rules. Additionally, they will share knowledge with the team on the correct usage of Pega's diverse tools and capabilities.
Responsibilities- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Assist the lead and/or develop and provide high-quality deliverables during all phases of the project, from participation in requirement gathering, design, and implementation to post-release support.
- Collaborate as part of an Agile development team, participate in daily stand-ups, work estimations, identify blockers, and propose solutions.
- Participate actively in demos and review sessions of all project deliverables to assure the quality and completeness of the functionalities, ensuring high availability, integrity, and confidence in the requirements.
- Ensure the delivery of solutions within the committed times and expected quality.
- Actively assist in the identification of enhancements to the base product, bringing recommendations on standards around system architecture, applications, development, integrations systems, data model, and testing.
- Keep updated on changing technological trends, be self-taught, and maintain an understanding of the tech strategy and business.
- Provide production support, including off-hour support if required.
- Must have: Professional degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of practical experience; can be acquired in university, personal projects, online courses, trainings, etc.
- Experience of at least 8 months in Agile projects.
- Verifiable experience in relational databases; preferably in Oracle and/or DB2.
- Experience in analysis, design, and software development focused on business solutions in Java.
- Banking experience, preferably with credit and debit cards.
- B1+ level of English.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
