The Impact of a Senior Business Operations Specialist at Coupa

You will be part of a growing global team supporting Coupa's reseller program, monthly/quarterly partner payments, and transactional revenue reconciliation. Your primary focus will be consolidating existing partner billing and usage activities while creating a new selling motion via partner resellers. This role involves working with internal stakeholders, managing reporting responsibilities for third-party partners, and ensuring accurate and aligned processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build an operational framework for the new reseller partner program, including Salesforce requirements, order form support, and partner payment processing.
  • Drive monthly finance-related activities, such as virtual card expense reconciliations, Coupa advantage supplier invoice management, and expense/invoice related reporting requirements.
  • Develop partnerships with key stakeholders in supported organizations, such as FP&A, Accounting, Revenue, and Partner Alliances.
  • Evaluate open POs to ensure adequate funding and alignment with owners on the need for additional funds.
  • Support the review of net new partner agreements, driving inclusion into standardized process and pipeline activity for any reporting script changes/impacts.
  • Review current partner billing and rebate agreements to ensure an aligned and documented process for reporting and payments.
  • Order form support for supply chain and app marketplace partners.
  • Curate process documentation for all expense/income related partner programs, ensuring business continuity and up-to-date work instructions.

What You'll Bring to Coupa

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with US-based employees.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel.
  • A methodical and analytical approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented mindset for finance projects.
  • Familiarity with process mapping and documentation creation.
  • 4+ years experience in business operations or financial analysis.
  • Ability to think outside the box with a keen focus on operational efficiency.
  • Experience with standard software tools (Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, etc).
  • Emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly productive and proactive with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively between all levels within the organization.
  • Hands-on willingness to roll up your sleeves on all projects regardless of scope.
