The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend software development, with experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance software systems. They will also be proficient in Java and/or Kotlin, with experience working with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS.
Job DescriptionAs a Backend Software Engineer at Odisea Cultura | Cultsure, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing new features and services using Java and/or Kotlin
- Collaborating closely with front-end engineers, product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive, user-focused features
- Implementing scalable, high-performance software that supports product features while considering security, privacy, and potential modes of failure
- Supporting the product team by efficiently debugging complex systems and ensuring smooth integration between backend services and the user interface
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Excellent written and verbal English proficiency
- Ability to execute on English instructions effectively and troubleshoot when necessary
- Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin, with experience working with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as:
