Food Safety Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Coordinator to join our Quality & Food Safety team at Kellanova. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Food Safety programs and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in our production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain Food Safety programs, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), microbiological control, pest control, and environmental monitoring.
  • Monitor and analyze Sanitation Score Card indicators, develop action plans to correct deviations, and conduct internal and external Q&FS audits.
  • Lead the Housekeeping program in the plant and manage suppliers and ingredients, including new product development for Colombia.
  • Administer cleaning and disinfection procedures, develop new procedures as needed, and manage the Food Safety budget.
  • Support the development and coaching of quality personnel, promote a culture of safety, and participate in activities aimed at injury and illness prevention.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in production plants or food companies.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage projects, with basic English language proficiency.
