Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Subsea Services Operations team. As a critical player in ensuring proper planning and execution of post-manufacturing services to our customers, you will be responsible for managing the technical scope of delivering equipment in projects.

• Technical Scope Management: Oversee the technical aspects of delivering equipment in projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with shop technicians, customers, customer service teams, and installation engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Project Planning: Participate in project planning and scheduling processes to ensure accurate timelines and resource allocation.
• Documentation and Instructions: Create work instructions and engineering documentation to mobilize, refurbish, upgrade/convert, maintain, and preserve equipment.
• Workshop and Troubleshooting Support: Provide technical support for assigned projects, including workshop and troubleshooting assistance.
• Service Order Creation: Develop and prepare Service Orders to provide comprehensive instructions to workshops for projects, including part and tooling allocations, task list operations, and applicable documentation.
• Physical Inspection and Interaction: Conduct physical inspections and interact with equipment in the workshop to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Field Non-Conformance Investigations: Support field non-conformance investigations, root cause analyses, and solution implementation.
• Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with other departments on equipment designs and questions to ensure alignment and expertise.
• Problem Identification and Resolution: Identify root causes of problems and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports, including After Action Reviews, for engineering project assignments.
• Standardization and Improvement: Participate in and may lead product and task standardization projects to drive efficiency and quality.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Subsea Engineering, with a strong background in system engineering and technical documentation.
• Skills: Capable of doing system engineering tasks, producing standard technical system documents, solving technical issues with coaching, and leading teamwork.
• Knowledge: Knowledgeable in how changes influence system engineering cost and capable of leading teamwork.
