Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cargo Supervisor to join our team at Perenco. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and offloading of cargo, as well as maintaining the vessel's deck and cargo equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the maintenance of deck and cargo equipment, including routine inspections and repairs.
  2. Develop and implement loading and offloading programs in accordance with OTS supervision.
  3. Coordinate with the cargo team to ensure the safe and efficient transfer of cargo.
  4. Monitor and report on the condition of deck and cargo systems, including any defects or damage.
  5. Supervise the cargo team, including pumpmen, to ensure they are following safe practices and procedures.
Requirements
  1. Knowledge of class and international rules applicable to F(P)SO vessels.
  2. Operational control of trim, stability, and stress, including in case of structural damage.
  3. Operational handling of cargo, including inert gas systems, venting systems, and cargo pumps.
  4. Knowledge of F(P)SO construction, inspection, and reporting of structural defects.
  5. Ability to monitor and control safe practices.
  6. Knowledge of the interrelationship between marine operations and specific production activities.
Training and Qualifications
  1. Basic safety training.
  2. Advanced fire fighting training.
  3. Survival craft training.
  4. Oil tanker training program qualification (STCW A-V).
  5. First aid training.
