About the Role:

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a skilled Financial Word Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Fund Administration department, you will be responsible for managing communication, planning processes, and workflow for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively manage communication, planning process, workflow, timelines, and team members responsible for a client's fund.
  2. Initiate and establish ongoing communication throughout the process to all teams to ensure uniformity and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Develop ways to effectively manage inconsistency among members in the network for the client.
  4. Provide quality improvement options to the FR team to be presented to the auditor/client.
  5. Appropriately delegate to your team members to ensure the completion of work and that timelines are met.
  6. Review and proof team members as a measure of improvement and quality control. Provide critical feedback as a measure of improvement.
  7. Utilize MS Word 2003 and 2007 to create, edit, and review documents for the production of financial statements for external distribution.
  8. Standardize tables and paragraph formats according to specification. Ability to distinguish what features accomplish a specific goal.
  9. Revise documents based on markup (word, adobe, track changes) from multiple sources - accountant, manager, auditor, and client.
  10. Review document for consistency of language in financial statements and accompanying notes.
  11. Review for uniformity in format and language across multiple documents that belong to one client.
  12. Proofread all completed documents to ensure accuracy, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and format.
  13. Compute and verify totals on report statements and footnotes using an adding machine or calculator.
  14. Accurately convert Excel tables into Word Tables.
  15. Electronically sort and compile text and numerical data, retrieving, updating, and merging documents as required. Search for specific sets of stored, typed characters in order to make changes.
  16. Work with technical material, preparing statistical reports, planning, and typing statistical tables, and combining and re-arranging material from different sources.
  17. File and store completed documents on a computer hard drive or disk, and/or maintain a computer filing system to store, retrieve, update, and delete documents.
  18. Keep accurate records of work performed.
  19. Perform other clerical duties such as answering the telephone, sending faxes, etc.
  20. Work under challenging deadlines and be accountable for completing work within specified time frames.
  21. Build and maintain relationships with Financial Reporting Accountants to anticipate and accommodate future workflow.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field. You should be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in financial word processing. Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel is a must, as well as a minimum of 60 wpm typing speed.
