About the Role

At Capgemini Engineering, we are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Full Stack developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Optimize database structures and queries for maximum performance.
  • Ensure secure user authentication and authorization.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
  • Participate in CI/CD processes.

Requirements

  • Good hands-on experience in Java (8+).
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot Microservices, REST APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server and NoSQL DBs like MongoDB.
  • Understanding of OAuth, JWT, and session management.
  • Writing unit test cases using Junit, Mockito.
  • Experience developing Web Application framework with NodeJS, React/Angular.
  • Experience on Web technologies such as CSS, HTML5, TypeScript, CSS pre-processors (SASS, LESS etc.) Objected oriented JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD process using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI, JIRA etc.
  • Exp in any cloud platform like AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
