Job Overview

H&M Group is seeking an experienced International Trade Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our global supply chain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless import and export processes for commercial and non-commercial goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrate local import and export processes for commercial and NCG, including port-to-distribution center, cross-country distribution center moves, and cross-border shipments (both store and online).
  • Timely prepare and administrate entries for customs clearance and support compliance with global rules, standards, and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs.
  • Communicate with customs and other regulators on a day-to-day operational basis.
  • Support international transport matters, such as shipment tracing/monitoring and freight invoice reviewing.

Requirements

  • Mastery of import and export processes in the country, across all types of cross-border flows.
  • In-depth understanding of global trade and customs rules and regulations.
  • Fluency in English and the local language.
  • Strong knowledge of common IT applications, particularly SAP.
  • Excellent coordination skills and ability to effectively resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Ability to collaborate and co-create with others.

  • Import/Export Compliance.
  • Import/Export Processing time.
  • Import/Export Processing error and issue rate.
  • Hit rate on duty preference applications.

  • Imports/Exports Manager.
  • Regional and Distribution Center Transport Manager.
  • Global Trade & Customs.
  • Tax & Accounting.
  • Customs Brokers (internal or external).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs & International Trade or related field.
  • CCS Certification preferred (Certified Customs Specialist).
  • 2-4 years of experience in imports/exports or relevant logistics experience.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $65,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience.
