Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Manager to join our team at Goodyear. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for strengthening the relationship between the Company, Associates, and Union Leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage Union Relations tasks, covering legal, labor, internal policies, and procedures aspects.
  2. Establish regular meetings with the Union to monitor progress and seek feedback to promote a good organizational climate.
  3. Plan meetings between the Company and the Union at different levels, ensuring alignment and exchange of relevant information.
  4. Strengthen the relationship between the Company and Union by presenting sustainable results.
  5. Implement and execute policies, strategies, and tools related to Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, Hiring, and Terminations.
  6. Provide support on HR matters to all associates and strengthen Leadership in conflict resolutions.
  7. Monitor and support initiatives to achieve and maintain a positive organizational climate.
Requirements

Required:

  1. 8+ years of experience in human resources as a Generalist/HRBP.
  2. 5+ years of experience in HR Manufacturing under a complex labor force and distribution model in multinational companies.
  3. 5+ years of managerial positions in a Matrix organization setup and multi-national enterprise.
  4. Union negotiations and labor relations strong expertise.

Desired:

  1. Master's in Business Administration or Organizational Development/related areas.
  2. Certification in Coaching and evaluation tools.
Preferred Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action. Strong ability to influence through relationships, expertise, and data, and the ability to manage a set of stakeholders. Comfortable executing independently and being part of complex strategy discussions. Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration. Superior communication skills and understanding of how to communicate large, complex change.
