Job Description Overview

The Merck Gruppe - MSD Sharp & Dohme is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate to join our team as a Clinical Research Site Manager - Senior. As a key member of our global clinical operations team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of clinical trials at assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the execution of clinical trials at assigned sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with site investigators and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the trial lifecycle.
  • Conduct site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and close-out visits to ensure study conduct, data quality, and subject safety.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve site performance issues, escalating concerns to management as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical research coordinators, data managers, and biostatisticians, to ensure seamless trial execution.
  • Provide training and support to junior CRAs on site management and monitoring best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and company policies, applying knowledge to improve site management and monitoring processes.

About You

  • We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced CRA with a minimum of 4 years of direct site management experience in a bio/pharma/CRO environment.
  • You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix multicultural environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in a life science or related field is preferred, but not required.
  • You must be fluent in English (verbal and written) and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $95,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
