About the Client:

Our client is a remote team specializing in creating top-tier ecommerce experiences on Shopify. They focus on design, quality, and a streamlined development process, consistently delighting clients and growing their agency.

About the Position:

You will collaborate with the client's design team, who will provide design direction, and you will typically be the sole developer on your projects. You will have full ownership of the development process, with your attention to detail and dedication to quality work being both encouraged and rewarded.

Requirements:

  • Fluent or native English-speaking skills.
  • 3+ years of full-time professional experience as a Shopify developer.
  • Expertise in Shopify/Liquid development building Shopify themes from scratch.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS/Sass/JS.
  • A solid understanding of good web design (you don't need to be a designer, but you should understand design principles).
  • Familiarity with responsive web design (RWD) techniques and mobile performance.
  • Ability to write well-structured vanilla JavaScript.
  • Comfort with building front-end templates using JSON APIs.
