Software Engineering II

As a Software Engineer II on the Xbox team at Microsoft, you will play a critical role in empowering the world's 3 billion gamers to play the games they want, with the people they want, anywhere they want. • Feature Design and Implementation: You will be responsible for designing and implementing features that drive growth in the PC ecosystem, working closely with product management and design to ensure high-quality results.
• Technical Leadership: As a primary feature owner, you will lead your feature crew to deliver features and codebase improvements, holding a high bar on quality and partnering with individuals on your team to provide a positive environment for technical and career growth.
• Real-Time Data Monitoring: You will build real-time data monitoring and alerting signals to monitor the health of features you ship, identifying critical errors and dependencies that require attention.
• Iterative Development: You will work in an iterative development culture, identifying MVPs, implementing, flighting to target audiences, collecting data, iterating, pivoting, and repeating to deliver high-quality results.

• Professional Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience building end-user applications.
• Technical Skills: Excellent design and coding skills in C++ or JavaScript, experience shipping consumer features, and a track record of driving code design for multiple feature areas.
• Education: Advanced English level and a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Gaming Experience: Experience building subscription or gaming-related user experiences on PC or Mobile.
• Technical Expertise: ReactJS or React Native Windows development experience.
