Job Overview:

The Applications Management role involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineer at Endava, you'll be responsible for:

  • Architecting, implementing, and maintaining DevOps pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with development teams to improve and create CI/CD processes.
  • Managing and optimizing cloud-based environments.
  • Utilizing Terraform for IaC to automate deployments.
  • Orchestrate and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Administering and maintaining any repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Ensuring system scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Providing input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
  • Applying good communication skills with team and client interaction.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • +4 years of experience and at least 1 year managing Azure infrastructure.
  • Solid, hands-on experience building and managing infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • In-depth knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, or any CI/CD tool.
  • Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Desirable experience with Azure Bicep.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Certifications in GCP, AWS, Azure, or DevOps.
