As a Localization Engineer, you'll be part of our Engineering and Quotes department, working on the translation process from start to finish. You'll analyze file formats, assess project requirements, and prepare files for translation using CAT tools like Wordfast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze file formats for localization potential
• Assess project requirements and prepare files for translation
• Work with CAT tools like Wordfast to streamline the translation process
• Carry out Quality Assurance procedures on translated files
• Maximize technology use in all production steps
• Provide technical support to production teams, sales, and other departments
• Develop and implement procedures for maximizing productivity through technology solutions
• Interface with production teams, sales, and other departments

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Translators and IT-related degrees preferred)
• Knowledge of file types (HTML/XML/Json/YML) and Regex expressions
• Knowledge of CAT and localization engineering tools
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite and other DTP tools
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
• Organized and motivated self-starter with a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Flexibility with hours to accommodate project deadlines
• Localization or technology-related experience desirable
