Product Quality Analyst

Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Flowserve, you will play a crucial role in the establishment, execution, and management of quality assurance initiatives and protocols.
This role entails interpreting client requirements and industry benchmarks into product and process specifications, as well as developing control strategies to meet those standards.
You will also tackle daily challenges related to production quality within the manufacturing environment, at client locations, and with supplier partners.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with production teams to strategize and implement inbound and production quality assessments
- Foster relationships with clients and third-party evaluators
- Engage in quality assessments and audits of external suppliers
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives
- Track product portfolio Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive effective corrective actions to address any discrepancies with established targets
- Oversee customer witness evaluations
- Maintain and analyze quality data to inform management and stakeholders about the status of processes or product quality
- Raise awareness among leadership regarding identified opportunities and strategies for realization
- Work collaboratively with various departments to clarify and resolve quality control-related issues.
- Provide all necessary documentation as per Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP) to clients after coordinating with internal teams and resolving documentation inquiries
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in engineering with proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience within a quality control environment
- Familiarity with product and process workflows
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3-5 years of pertinent experience
