Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize code for performance and maintainability, adhering to best practices for component composition and reusable UI elements.
  • Closely collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into visually stunning interfaces.
  • Prioritize team efficiency and collaboration through Agile development practices, including planning sessions, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Implement state management effectively across large-scale applications using libraries such as Redux, MobX, or React Query.
  • Ensure seamless user interactions within applications through optimized data fetching and handling.

Code Review and Quality Assurance

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintainable standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing insights and improvements for frontend architecture and code quality.

We offer a competitive $4,000 - $6,000 USD base salary, depending on experience and location, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. As a full-time contractor, you will enjoy a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with opportunities for growth and professional development in our remote work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a frontend developer, primarily in React.
  • Excellent knowledge of Vanilla JS, including functional programming, async/await, Promises, arrow functions, closures, etc.
  • Strong understanding of TypeScript and its application in React development.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and data fetching libraries (e.g., React Query, RTK Query, SWR).
  • Knowledge of react patterns like composition, avoiding prop drilling, component as children, component as props, component as functions.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • A good understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work closely with designers.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and collaborative workflow principles.
  • Excellent communication and self-organization skills.
