Job Description:
Messaging OperationsOur team is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our messaging platform. As a Senior Routing Engineer, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing optimal routing profiles for our customers, monitoring message delivery rates, and troubleshooting issues that impact our messaging operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Telesign's underlying routing logic and vendor dependencies
- Advanced troubleshooting of message delivery and customer-based routing escalations
- Proactive identification of service-impacting issues and adjustment of customer routing profiles to ensure continuous delivery
- Reactive work with customer-facing teams on vendor-related customer escalations requiring routing-related remediation
- Monitoring and analysis of the quality of existing routes and customer traffic
Requirements:
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
- At least two years of experience working in the SMS industry
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
- Comfortable speaking with all levels of the organization and acting as a subject matter expert for messaging operations best practices
- Basic knowledge of query languages such as JQL, Kibana, or SQL
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, data visualization, and analysis)
