Job Summary:

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Engine Technician to join our team. As a Line Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of UH-60 engines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on UH-60 engines, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve engine issues.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in aviation and engine maintenance from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in aviation maintenance, with a focus on engine maintenance.
  • Shall have 15B engine training and T700/APU basic courses.
  • Current TERM and TLH Colombian license, or equivalent Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • English language ability at the Foreign Service Institute Level R/1, or the equivalent; Spanish language ability equivalent to the Foreign Service Institute Level R/3, S/3 is required.
  • Knowledge of Colombian Aeronautica Civil, FAA, and military maintenance regulations.
  • Knowledge of Colombian safety standards and procedures.
