Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team and contribute to the development of novel solutions for biofilm formation and characterisation in food applications. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for designing and executing experiments, analysing data, and collaborating with colleagues to advance our understanding of biofilms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse biofilm-forming capacity of bacteria isolated from food using bioinformatics tools
• Characterise biofilm growth under different antimicrobial conditions
• Analyse gene expression of identified genes using molecular techniques (RT-qPCR)

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Advanced knowledge of microbiology, particularly in biofilm formation and characterisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in English (B2-C1 level) or Spanish (B2-C1 level)
• Undergraduate, graduate, or Master's degree in a relevant field
