We are seeking a seasoned Plastic Commodities Trader to join our team in Colombia. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and ambitious company that is shaping the global circular economy.

Your Role: As a Plastic Commodities Trader, you will be responsible for securing diverse and stable supplies of scrap plastic commodities from the Waste Management and Recycling industry. This involves building mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, controlling material quality, and closing deals.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer an uncapped commission scheme that rewards hard work and dedication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a deep understanding of the plastic market and staying up-to-date with market trends and developments.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Managing a portfolio of commodity trades, including purchasing, selling, and logistics.
- Providing high-quality support to sales teams across the globe.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in commodity trading or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the plastic market, including pricing, supply and demand dynamics, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
