Job Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level UX/UI Designer with a strong English language proficiency to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in auditing and designing interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support senior designers on projects of varying size and complexity, contributing to the creation of high-quality designs that meet user and business needs.
  2. Work primarily within a pre-existing framework with established brand standards and visual identity.
  3. Assist senior designers in developing product concepts and product designs by following design best practices.
  4. Ideate and iterate UI solutions with designers and stakeholders (product, engineering).
  5. Make user-centered recommendations to improve the overall user experience.
  6. Use design tools to deliver basic design artifacts (wireframes, user flows, interaction designs, prototypes) utilizing responsive design best practices.
  7. Create pixel-perfect designs in Figma that follow standard grid system methodologies.
  8. Communicate design solutions to stakeholders using sketches, mockups, and other visual aids.
  9. Review requirements and work off assigned tickets, creating own tickets and requirements where needed to better organize tasks.
  10. Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive and innovative.
  11. Maintain strong communication and collaboration to help brainstorm and conceptualize effectively across digital communication channels.
Requirements & Qualifications
  1. 2-3 years of experience in a UI/UX design role.
  2. Strong creative, technical, and critical problem-solving skills.
  3. Proficiency in remote collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Teams.
  4. Proficiency using Figma and Material UI.
  5. Strong understanding of modern design principles and user-centered design, including expert knowledge of web design, layout, and typography.
  6. E-commerce experience preferred but not required.
  7. Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability and experience to thrive in a remote work environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
  9. Ability to work within an evolving design system.
  10. Familiarity with common web and mobile UI design patterns used by other successful eCommerce businesses.
  11. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  12. A portfolio that demonstrates experience in designing user-centered solutions.
  13. Understanding of appropriate applications, capabilities, and limitations of common image file types -.WEBP,.SVG,.PNG,.GIF.
  14. Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
