Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Woodframe Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on various wood-frame building projects and contribute to their successful completion.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and analyzing wood-frame structures, ensuring they meet applicable codes and standards. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive structural engineering plans, working closely with architects, builders, and other engineers to ensure proper design integration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze wood-frame structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Develop detailed structural engineering plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Utilize RISA 3D software for modeling and designing wood-frame structures.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide technical guidance to team members.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in wood-frame structural engineering, preferably in projects for the United States or Canada.
  • Skills: Proficient in RISA 3D (Mandatory), excellent problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
