Your Role
As a member of BCG Platinion, you will collaborate with colleagues from BCG Strategy Consulting, Digital Ventures, and Gamma on both UK and international client projects. Your responsibilities will include assessing and mentoring clients' IT teams, defining IT strategies and architectural solutions, establishing and managing delivery teams, and actively participating in the development of proof of concepts and MVPs by leveraging your technical expertise, business acumen, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee work packages/modules in critical IT implementation initiatives.
- Conduct technical architecture reviews and performance evaluations of technical proofs of concept.
- Analyze intricate IT application landscapes and optimize development processes and solution architecture.
- Develop functional and technical online and Internet strategies.
- Manage IT projects and ensure quality assurance.
Your Qualifications:
- 6 to 10 years of experience in software development, technical project management, digital delivery, or technology consulting.
- Comprehensive understanding of the interdependencies between your work stream and the overall project context, with the ability to autonomously scope and design a work stream while taking responsibility for it.
- Proficient in facilitating workshops at peer level, effectively leading client meetings, preparing content topic materials, and coaching project members to build trust and be recognized as a potential partner by clients.
- A university degree with strong academic performance in a STEM-related field.
- Extensive technical knowledge, including a thorough understanding of architecture, object-oriented programming languages, database design, component technologies, XML standards, and current technology trends in digital solutions across mobile and legacy environments.
- Significant experience in evaluating IT target architectures within an enterprise context, component technologies, and service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with No-SQL and SQL databases, as well as exposure to big data environments (e.g., Hadoop, Redshift).
- Technical expertise in Cloud services and infrastructure.
