About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior R Developer to join our dynamic team at Scale Up Recruiting Partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development using R with an understanding of data science and statistical analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Complex Projects: Lead and execute advanced data analysis and software development projects using R, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Conduct Statistical Analysis: Perform sophisticated statistical analyses and modeling to extract insights from complex data sets.
- Develop Data Processing Pipelines: Design and implement data processing pipelines to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Write Efficient Code: Develop and deploy efficient R code for data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Provide Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior R developers, promoting best practices and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop appropriate solutions.
- Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- Document Code: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed code and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in R development and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in R programming language and its core packages, strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques, experience with version control systems, familiarity with database management and SQL, and knowledge of other programming languages.
- Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
