**Job Description**

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Manager to join our GBS team in Bogotá. As a key member of our Credit and Collections department, you'll be responsible for handling medium-sized customer portfolios, securing timely collection of receivables, and resolving disputes with customers and other finance teams.

You'll work closely with our sales and finance teams to provide insights into the development of accounts receivable positions, manage relationships with customer service and other stakeholders, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving timely collections, minimizing write-offs, and supporting ongoing projects for technology solution implementation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Handle medium-size customer portfolios
  • Secure timely collection of receivables by working closely with customers and other finance teams
  • Manage customer relationships and escalate issue resolution
  • Assess and review credit risk on customers on a regular basis
  • Calculate and suggest required credit limits
  • Decide on the release of blocked orders and ensure timely release
  • Provide insight into the development of accounts receivable positions
  • Manage relationships with customer service and other stakeholders
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support their implementation

**Requirements:**

  • 2+ years relevant work experience in accounting/business area
  • Good finance acumen
  • Experience with SAP
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish in a business setting
  • High degree of customer orientation
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed individual
  • Availability to travel for periods of 3-4 weeks
