About the Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend applications and APIs using Node.js and Express. Your expertise in PostgreSQL is essential to ensure efficient data management and optimized queries.

Requirements
  • 4-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer, focusing on Node.js and Express.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, complex queries, and performance optimization.
  • 2+ years of experience with Java and Typescript.
  • Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Solid understanding of backend architecture and design principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
Nice to Have
  • Understanding of Tailwind CSS.
  • Exposure to Capacitor.js.
Responsibilities
  • Work with PostgreSQL for database design, optimization, and complex querying.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Develop RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Implement security and data protection best practices.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments.
