About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Test Analyst to join our Label Insight team at NielsenIQ. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Team Leadership: Support the QA IT Manager in leading the testing team, coaching team members on best practices, and deputizing for the Team Manager during periods of absence.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Create and document test plans, scenarios, and scripts for validation by developers and Scrum Masters. Execute testing scripts in all IT environments, tracking and reporting progress in line with Test Team and NielsenIQ guidelines.
  • Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify new and existing defects/bugs, measure them in line with agreed metrics, and work with developers on solutions and remedial work.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Play an active role in the welfare of the test team, supporting peers and colleagues when required, and taking the lead in test team discussions.
  • Line Management: Provide line management of a small team of Test Analysts, in line with organization policies and processes, including performance review/management, administration, coaching, and mentoring.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a Senior Test Analyst role and SDLC, with experience of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Test Tools and Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of test tools such as JIRA for Epic, Story, and Defect classification, management, and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Prepared to lead by positive example, motivate, and engage others within the test team.
  • Proactive and Constructive: A proactive and constructive member of the test team, taking ownership of resolving issues and risks.
