Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure for Dedalus Solutions at regional and sub-regional levels.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
  • Participate in infrastructure initiatives and projects, deploying Dedalus infrastructure at regional and sub-regional levels.
  • Help design and quote IT infrastructure on public clouds and on-premise vendors.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure servers, databases, networking services, etc. on AWS or Azure clouds and on-premise datacenters.
  • Maintaining and patching OSes, DBMS, and J2EE App Servers.
  • Solving infrastructure incidents, including adjustments, corrective actions, restorations, etc.
  • Optimizing performance of databases, networks, applications, and servers.
  • Performing up to level 2 database tasks, such as backup configurations, executions, restorations, index reconstruction, and parameter modifications.
  • Managing user accounts and access via broad area virtual private networks (VPNs), fixing network and connectivity issues.
  • Deploying and troubleshooting J2EE applications, partnering with the application development team.
  • Managing the security of computer systems and inter-application information transfers.
  • Managing cloud or VM host environments to ensure proper tuning and sufficient capacity.

As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will provide advice and support to sales and pre-sales teams, act as a trusted infrastructure advisor for customers, and help customers attain data standardization and consistency when designing integration approaches.

Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of company portfolio development and industry trends in regards to infrastructure requirements.
