Job Description:
AECOM seeks an experienced Civil Engineering II to support transportation infrastructure projects in Colombia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing transportation systems that meet the needs of our clients and communities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in transportation engineering, with experience in geometric design, traffic analysis, and BIM modeling. You will also possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders alike.
Responsibilities:
  1. Support the development of geometric designs for roads, airports, and rail networks
  2. Analyze engineering data for transportation projects, including earthwork, grading, and spatial analysis
  3. Create models and work under the BIM methodology
  4. Prepare engineering reports and documents
  5. Calculate quantities of work and develop technical specifications
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and have at least 2 years of general experience in transportation infrastructure projects during the feasibility and detailed engineering stages. Preferred qualifications include 6 or more years of experience in consulting infrastructure projects, intermediate to advanced-level English proficiency, and experience in airport and/or railway projects.
