We're currently looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of Tipalti's fintech unicorn rocketship.

Job Description:

The Customer Support Specialist will work directly with customers in identifying and resolving basic customer issues and needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing world-class service to customers and ensuring their success post-sales.
  • Offering specialized support on technical and product issues, as well as managing customer escalations.
  • Leading actions to resolve customer issues while collaborating with teams such as Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
  • Acting as a customer advocate by sharing product feedback with internal stakeholder teams to drive the product roadmap.
  • Creating and contributing to knowledge articles in Tipalti's knowledge base.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 2 years of experience providing hands-on technical support at a SaaS company.
  • A relevant academic degree demonstrating quantitative and analytical orientation.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to continuously learn.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite or QuickBooks, with knowledge of accounting being an asset.
  • Experience working with payment systems or in the fintech industry – a plus.
  • Ability to read, debug, and understand HTML code, API calls, etc. – an advantage.

About the Role and Company
