Job Description

Our data team at Endava has expertise across engineering, analysis, architecture, modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. This discipline is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, building robust data infrastructures, and enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of solution architectures to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Ensure the availability and use of appropriate tools and methods to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare technical plans and coordinate resources within change programs to deliver high-quality results.
  • Advise on technical aspects of solution development and ensure correct application of strategies, policies, standards, and practices, including security.
  • Develop and implement master data management processes to ensure data quality, security, and integrity.
  • Create data management structures and metadata for consistent information retrieval, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Plan effective data storage, sharing, and publishing within the organization to support business needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on database and data warehouse architectures, software, and facilities to support business growth.
  • Specialize in DBMS and data warehouse design to ensure performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Oversee all software development stages, planning, and driving construction activities to deliver high-quality results.
  • Adopt suitable methods and techniques, monitor adherence to standards, including security, and contribute to organizational policies and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies and cloud data platforms.
  • 5+ years of systems architecture experience with large-scale data warehouse platforms and applications.
  • Wide experience leading teams and stakeholder management to drive business growth.
  • Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong data analysis and SQL skills to support business needs.
  • Strong SQL scripting experience to support data management and analysis.
  • Background and experience with cloud data technologies and tools, including BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, and other data warehouse tools.
  • Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Apache Beam, Dataproc, or similar to support data processing and analytics.
  • Real-time and batch processing experience to support business needs.
  • Serverless processing experience to support business growth.
  • Proficiency in a programming language like Python, Scala, or similar to support data management and analysis.
  • Good leadership and communication skills to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well with others to achieve a common goal.
  • Open to working in an agile environment as part of a scrum team to drive business growth.
  • The ability to take the initiative, drive the project, and innovate to support business needs.
