A Day in the Life

You will serve as an Analyst for ongoing programs within the IT Operations & Innovation Team, leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights across multiple teams. Your primary focus will be on working closely with cross-functional teams, utilizing advanced analytics tools to transform data into meaningful insights that enhance operational efficiency and business growth.

This position reports to the IT Platform Manager for Digital Shop Floor / Ops&Innovation located in Costa Rica. You will have the opportunity to contribute to global programs within the IT Ops&Innovation Portfolio, offering a great chance to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities
  • Understand, map, and document business requirements into functional and technical specifications for data analytics design and build.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Participate fully in end-to-end testing for all Data Analytics products.
  • Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, data science, business analytics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Commercial experience working within the med-tech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Between 3-5 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or manufacturing analytics role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, along with a flexible benefits package designed to support your career and personal life. Our commitment to our employees' well-being is at the core of our values.

MEDTRONIC offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes a base salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
