Job Summary:

As an Automation Tester in our Colombia office, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of software and hardware components to ensure quality and performance standards are met. You will create and maintain comprehensive test cases using Agile/Scrum methodologies to support continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of software and hardware components
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test cases
  • Assess algorithms used in projects
  • Provide team leadership and influence application vision

Requirements:

  • Experience using UI Performance testing tools
  • Strong foundation in Python programming for testing
  • B.S. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or related field
  • Experience testing closed-loop control algorithms
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies experience
  • Test Case Management System experience (e.g., Testrail)
  • JIRA experience
  • Github experience
  • CI/CD experience
  • Advanced English level (written, reading, and conversational)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with power generation and/or grid level control systems
  • Experience with Power System Market Applications
  • Industrial Protocols experience (e.g., Modbus TCP, DNP3, IEC 61850)
  • Modern web client technologies experience (e.g., HTML5)
  • AWS, Openstack, Docker experience
  • Continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks experience
  • Diverse COTS or Open Source Software experience
