As a seasoned professional, you will lead the LATAM Sustainable Investment Advisory group, driving sustainable development in Latin America. With a strong background in sustainability and ESG frameworks, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of environmental and social specialists, focused on growing the business by developing and selling new related service offerings to clients.
This strategic role requires close collaboration with regional Arup leaders on joint initiatives, aiming to expand Arup's influence on sustainable development in the region. You will also be responsible for mentoring and training team staff and others in the Bogota office to enhance their consulting and advisory skills.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with existing team managers to ensure high-quality work and career growth opportunities as the team expands.
- Engage clients to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions and following up with proposals and work-winning strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify, secure, and grow new work from project developers and private equity funds, leveraging the skills and expertise of the team.
- Establish annual business plans and goals for the team, including budgeting, strategic investments in training, hiring, and technology.
- Promote thought leadership through industry events and publications, raising Arup's profile in LACs and globally.
- Mentor and train team staff and others in the Bogota office to enhance their consulting and advisory skills.
- Bachelor's degree in related fields, such as Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or Economics.
- 15 years of experience in sustainability and ESG frameworks, with certified professional credentials.
- Proven leadership, strategic planning, and management skills commensurate with the role.
- Demonstrated professional working experience and network in LAC region, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
