**Job Title:** Creative Video Editor Specialist

**Location:** Remote

**Employment Type:** Full-Time / Flexible Hours PST

**Overview:** We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team at Sagan Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through video and possess the technical expertise to create high-quality content.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded footage into a finished product that aligns with our vision and resonates with our audience. Key responsibilities include editing video footage to create engaging and polished content, collaborating closely with the creative team to understand project objectives, and incorporating visual effects, transitions, and sound design to enhance the final product. Additionally, you will ensure all video content is optimized for different formats and platforms, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Edit video footage to create engaging and polished content for various platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project objectives.
  • Incorporate visual effects, transitions, and sound design to enhance the final product.
  • Ensure all video content is optimized for different formats and platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


**Qualifications:** Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects, proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools, knowledge of motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects, and a strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and technical specifications.

**Preferred Skills:** Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva, experience in color grading and sound design, and familiarity with specific industry or niche relevant to the job. Knowledge of filming and directing is a bonus but not required.
