Job Description

This is a Contract/Consultant position for a Lead Accounting Professional with World Business Lenders, LLC. The job requires 100% fluency in English and exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Finance Team Lead to close books every month.
  • Assist in preparing the company's external financial statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure Financial Statements are accurate and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Coordinate with Loan Administration regarding recording loan updates and related data in the Accounting system.
  • Annual 1099 generation and filing with IRS.
  • Special Projects including automation of processes through in-house initiatives/3rd party vendors and other duties as assigned in support of the Corporate Controller.
  • Ensure timely vendor payment, review and monitor accounts payable aging analysis.
  • Set up wires, ACH, and book transfers.
  • Communicate with vendors as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, processes, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years' general accounting experience and demonstrated technical accounting knowledge preferred.
  • At least 1 year in a senior position.
  • Experience with Sage GL and AP is preferred, but not required.
  • Well-versed in IFRS and/or GAAP accounting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Proactive approach and strong work ethic.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
