We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Endava. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, collaborating with data architects, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Data Pipelines: Design and implement data pipelines using Python and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Collaborate with Data Architects: Work with data architects to create and maintain source to target mapping documentation.
- Ensure Data Quality: Identify, document, and develop measures to visualize and record source data and data pipeline quality objectives.
- Support Data Migration Projects: Experience with data migration projects between systems hosted in different hosting environments (on-premises, AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Contribute to Agile Development: Participate in agile ceremonies, size tasks and deliverables.
- 5+ Years of Experience: In designing, developing, and managing data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Hands-on Experience: With Snowflake, SQL, and data platforms like Oracle or SQL Server.
- Strong Understanding: Of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
- Python Programming: 2+ years of experience.
- Lead Experience: A plus.
