Sales and Account Management Leader Opportunity

Emerging Travel Group is expanding its presence in Northern South America and seeks a seasoned Area Manager to lead this initiative. This role offers a unique chance to join a dynamic company that operates globally across 220 markets. We aim to revolutionize the travel industry by making it more accessible, rewarding, and simple for all stakeholders.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced leader who can drive our expansion and consolidation efforts in Northern South America. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the team towards achieving divisional revenue goals, strengthening existing partnerships, and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Team: Drive the team's performance towards achieving planned revenue targets, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  2. Territory Expansion: Identify new opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships to expand our reach in Northern South America.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Analyze KPIs to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
  4. Partner Acquisition: Foster relationships with key partners, agency chains, vertical groups, and API providers.
  5. Account Management: Support the team in managing critical accounts, building strong relationships, and negotiating mutually beneficial agreements.
  6. New Business Development: Drive the recruitment of new business partners, negotiate contracts, and strengthen existing partnerships.
  7. Team Development: Hire, train, and mentor team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful sales and account management leadership experience.
  • Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of B2B travel networks.
  • Linguistic Proficiency: Fluent Spanish and English.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 30% of travel time may be required.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to use data-driven insights to inform decisions.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, and a team player.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively across diverse cultural contexts.
  • API Technology: Familiarity with API technology deals a plus.
