About the Role:

The Lead Android Developer position at Meteor is a pivotal opportunity to shape the next generation of Android applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create robust, responsive, and user-friendly apps that meet the company's high standards. As a developer in this position, you will play a key role in building features from scratch, refining existing components, and ensuring exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
  2. Help design client-side and server-side architecture.
  3. Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design and attention to detail.
  4. Reuse components to maintain clear code.
  5. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  6. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  7. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
  8. Create security and data protection settings.
  9. Build features and applications with responsive design.
  10. Write technical documentation.
  11. Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.
  12. Provide inputs to build robust software solutions.

About You:
  1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and handling different screen sizes.
  2. Understanding of Android Porting and Build process.
  3. 5+ years of experience in Native apps development.
  4. Strong experience with Video Processing.
  5. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  6. Design, develop, and maintain efficient Android Apps using Android SDK, Java, Kotlin, Jetpack components, SQLite Database, MVVM Architecture.
  7. Manage the full technical life-cycle of Android applications during each development phase.
  8. Excellent English verbal and written language proficiency.
  9. Access to a quiet work area with reliable internet.
