This role is for a full-time Purchasing Associate who will support our international sales and purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the marine spares industry and be fluent in professional-level English.

Responsibilities- Research potential and existing clients using various research tools and platforms, including Equasis, Ship Info, and Shipserv.
- Build and maintain databases of clients, vessels, and key client personnel.
- Identify key suppliers based on product availability, pricing, payment terms, quality, and lead time.
- Research and identify conferences and associations to join focused on the marine spares industry.
- Process paperwork needed to join these associations and conferences.
- Manage orders and track their delivery.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and be their liaison on all open orders.
- Provide client support and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Perform basic data entry into key company systems, including Quickbooks and Shipserv.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- C1 English level, both written and spoken.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
- At least 3 years of work experience.
- High attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving and flexibility.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience in purchasing and/or the maritime industry.
- Previous startup experience.
- Experience with task management and CRM tools.
