Lead DevOps Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Principal DevOps Engineer to join our team of experts in cloud engineering, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration and delivery. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, GitLab, or Jenkins, integrating with version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvements to operational practices and procedures.
• Analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions to drive business outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance existing processes and tools.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud engineering, DevOps, and IT operations.
• Advanced English fluency and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and configuration management (Terraform).
• In-depth knowledge of security, networking, and access control principles, with experience in implementing VPCs, security groups, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, testing, and code review processes.

Bonus Skills:

• AWS Professional Certificates or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with serverless deployment (Lambda, API Gateway) and infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Familiarity with monorepos and tooling like NX.
• Node.js expertise and ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
