We are seeking highly skilled Investment Analysts who will play a key role in deal generation, investment transaction execution, and portfolio management. ">The Role">
  • Conduct rigorous analysis, including comprehensive due diligence and financial modeling, to ensure accurate and informed decision-making.
  • Analyze financial statements and projections, build financial models, and run sensitivities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure the highest standards of portfolio data accuracy and prepare monitoring reports to track performance and progress.
  • Prepare analytical sections of country and sector strategies, as well as client pitchbooks, to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the design of sector and country strategies, crafting client presentations to showcase IFC's value proposition.
  • Prepare sector mapping to identify target clients and business opportunities, pinpointing potential prospects through sector exploration and outreach.
  • Engage with internal teams and clients on data inquiries, document scrutiny, and financial statement evaluations, demonstrating attention to detail and thoughtfulness in your work.
  • Craft essential documents for our investment/advisory boards, adhering to IFC's stringent guidelines and standards.

Requirements

">
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, economics, or relevant industry areas.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, financial consulting, or similar fields.
  • Ability to conduct market and industry research and analysis, applying your knowledge to inform strategic decisions.
  • Mastery of financial statement analysis and financial modeling, using tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, tailoring your approach to different audiences and contexts.
  • Genuine dedication to development and to the World Bank Group and IFC's mission, strategy, and values.
