Sofka Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join our team in Medellín or Bogotá. We are a dynamic company dedicated to innovation and quality, and this is an excellent opportunity to work with us.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect who has experience in architecting and developing scalable cloud solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring security and compliance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable cloud-based applications using AWS and/or Azure platforms.
  • Collaborate with the development team to define and deliver project requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technology trends and best practices.
Technical Expertise:
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Node.js with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Advanced expertise in React with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with C#, .NET or Java.
  • Strong cloud experience with AWS(Amazon Web Services) and/or Azure, with a minimum of 3 years.
  • Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience working with US-based customers.
  • English communication skills at B2+ level.

The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 per year, considering the location in Medellín or Bogotá. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work from home two days a month to strengthen bonds with your team and foster synergies.
