Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. As a key member of our agile development group, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive critical business goals forward.

This role involves working closely with other engineers, product owners, and scrum masters to realize strategic objectives.

Your primary responsibilities will include owning day-to-day deployment tasks, assisting in creating and maintaining tools and processes, configuring Azure subscriptions, managing assets access and structure, designing and maintaining deployment tools and systems, ensuring service availability, provisioning virtual server estates, scripting infrastructure as code, supporting production releases, and participating in continuous integration and continuous deployment model evolution.

Responsibilities:
  • Owning day-to-day deployment tasks to Non-Production and Production environments
  • Assisting in creating and maintaining tools and processes
  • Configuring Azure subscriptions, managing assets access and structure
  • Designing and maintaining deployment tools and systems
  • Ensuring service availability, meeting agreed service level agreements
  • Provisioning and managing Azure hosted virtual server estates
  • Scripting infrastructure as code and deployment steps
  • Supporting production releases of new features and products
  • Participating in evolving build, deployment, and release management practices towards a continuous integration/continuous deployment model
  • Providing technical support for production and non-production environments
Requirements:
  • Ability to automate system configuration and management using scripts and configuration management tools
  • Comfortable with PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Experience with continuous delivery tool sets and frameworks, such as Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of Azure, including virtual networking, PAAS, and IAAS services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFSR, Group Policy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies, including Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, and Server 2019
  • Experience with managing highly available production-facing e-commerce websites
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively across technology teams and the business
