Job Summary


Maersk is seeking an experienced International Transportation Operations Manager to oversee the operational management of assigned customers and lead a team of providers in ensuring efficient and correct execution of customer service tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in operations or customer services management in international transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding.


Key Responsibilities



  • Operational Responsibility

    • Ensure client SLAs are followed and operational set-ups and procedures are effective and efficient.
    • Report deviations from agreed processes or ongoing issues affecting operations.
    • Maintain control over invoicing processes for accuracy and timeliness.
    • Continuously improve system updates, data quality, service levels, and productivity.
    • Generate operational reports requested by clients.
    • Inform clients about shipment status and ensure all necessary procedures are carried out timely and correctly.

  • Leadership Responsibility

    • Conduct weekly operational reviews to discuss and resolve ongoing issues.
    • Organize customer services tasks within the team, coach, and appraise team members.
    • Promote an environment of effective communication, continuous improvement, and company values.
    • Coordinate employee holiday and leave.
    • Support the team in escalations or inconvenience.

  • Bachelor's degree in international commerce, administration, economy, engineering, or related areas.
  • Postgraduate studies (optional).
  • English and Spanish proficiency (100%) required.
