About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. as a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for building software user interfaces for a variety of financial solutions. You will work closely with software development and business teams to define, create, and utilize reusable components that can be used internally or white-labeled for external use.

Responsibilities

  1. Build robust and efficient user interfaces using front-end technologies such as TypeScript, React, and CSS.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
  3. Write self-documenting and well-tested code with an emphasis on sustainable development practices.
  4. Work as part of a small, productive development team that cares most about delivering value to the business while emphasizing code quality, peer reviews, and strong engineering practices.

Requirements

  1. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other demanding engineering degree (or equivalent work experience).
  2. 6+ years of professional experience working as a part of a multi-person development team that utilizes automated testing, CI pipelines, peer reviews, ideally in an Agile Environment.
  3. A strong proficiency and in-depth understanding of front-end technologies, especially TypeScript, React, and CSS.
  4. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  5. A passion for UX: you understand in your bones that page speed, asset size, and critical render path all affect your users.
  6. Adaptability: while you enjoy establishing processes and standards, you understand the need to be flexible and enjoy trying new things.
  7. Ability to learn new and unfamiliar technologies quickly, as required.
  8. A practice of writing technical documentation, whether ADRs, design docs, or just sequence diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Knowledge of GraphQL, React Query, and React Context.
  2. Knowledge of Chakra UI.
  3. Have worked in the financial services industry.
