Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor who will be responsible for assessing our internal controls, providing assurance, advisory, and insights about our main risks, and helping us grow healthily. As a Senior Analyst Audit, you will participate in audit fieldworks, identify issues, and follow up on action plans to ensure their correct implementation. You will also act as an Internal Audit reference in Finance, interacting with stakeholders from the first and second lines of defense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in audit fieldworks, through test execution including data analysis as well as production of the final report together with the team.
  • Identify issues and discuss with relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow up on action plans to ensure their correct implementation.
  • Act as an Internal Audit reference in Finance for auditors and other areas of Nubank, interacting with stakeholders from the first and second lines of defense.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting science, economics, business administration, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an internal auditor specialized in banks (required) or financial accountant, external auditor (Big Four).
  • Experience in auditing Risk Management Systems such as SIAR, SARLAFT, SARO, SARM, SARL, SARC, and SAC.
  • Knowledge of financial market regulations (SFC regulation) and financial products and services, including prudential/capital regulation, Basel, and especially regulations across Latin America.
  • Solid analytical background. Must be comfortable manipulating data to perform audits.
  • Advanced conversational English skills.
